Size Guide

Choosing the right size for a special-occasion dress should feel confident, not guesswork. This guide explains how Zuvarello lists sizing, how to take your measurements, and what to look for on individual product pages before you order.

How Sizes Are Listed

Zuvarello dresses are offered in letter sizes that range from XS to 3XL, depending on the style. Evening gowns typically begin at S, while some relaxed-cut pieces such as kaftan dresses also offer XS. Because each garment is designed differently, always check the size options shown on the specific product page rather than assuming a universal range across the store.

Taking Your Measurements

Most Zuvarello size charts list three key body measurements: bust, waist, and hip. Use a soft, flexible tape measure and keep it snug against your skin without pulling tight or twisting.

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back and parallel to the floor.
  • Waist: Find your natural waistline—the narrowest point of your torso, usually just above the navel—and measure around it without sucking in.
  • Hip: Stand with feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Record your numbers in inches, since the size charts on Zuvarello product pages use inches. Write them down before you browse so you can compare against each garment's specific chart.

Reading the Size Information on Product Pages

When a product page includes a size chart, the numbers listed under Bust, Waist, and Hip represent body measurement ranges—the span of body sizes that particular garment is designed to accommodate. They are not the flat measurements of the dress itself.

Every Zuvarello size chart notes that manual measurement may vary by 0.4 to 1.2 inches. This tolerance is normal for hand-cut and sewn garments. Keep it in mind when your body measurements fall near the edge of a listed range.

Fit Varies by Style

Different silhouettes sit differently on the body, so the same size number can feel quite distinct from one dress to another:

  • Structured evening gowns (drop-waist, corset bodice, or pleated designs) are cut close through the bust and waist. Several of these styles note that if you prefer extra room or fall between sizes, sizing up is the safer choice.
  • Relaxed kaftan dresses feature an airy, flowing silhouette designed to drape without clinging. The same size may feel noticeably looser than on a fitted gown.
  • Lace-up back designs offer built-in adjustability at the torso, which can accommodate a slightly wider range of body shapes within one size.

These descriptions reflect the fit language used on specific product pages. Always read the Fabric & Fit section for the dress you are considering, since it tells you how that particular garment is cut.

When You Are Between Sizes

Several Zuvarello evening gowns include a recommendation to size up when you fall between two sizes or want additional breathing room. However, this advice is style-specific. A structured gown with a fitted bodice behaves very differently from a flowing kaftan with a drawstring. Compare your bust, waist, and hip numbers against the chart on the exact product page, consider the fit description, and then decide which size aligns best with the silhouette and your comfort preference.

If a product page does not include a size chart or fit guidance, the information shown there is what the brand has confirmed for that item. Do not assume it matches another dress in the collection.

Still Unsure? Ask Before You Order

If you want a second look at your measurements against a specific dress, email xasan@zuvarello.shop with the following details:

  • The product name or link
  • The two sizes you are comparing
  • Your bust, waist, and hip measurements
  • How you would like the dress to fit (close to the body, comfortable ease, etc.)

A member of the Zuvarello team will help you interpret the available information. Please do not send photos or personal identification—measurements and the product name are enough.
